The Role:

The Urban Space and Travel Company Limited provide serviced apartments in Cardiff and the Vale.  To provide the highest possible quality of service to all guests throughout the night, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Porter to join the team.  This is a really varied role supporting all departments.  You will be required to support with all aspects of the customer journey from arrivals, responding to guest requests to the preparation for the day ahead.  As part of this role you will need to be able to proactively solve problems.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will work a basic 40 hours a week with shifts from 8pm until 8am on a rota system of four days on, three days off.  The candidate will be required to hold a full and clean driving licence.

• Ability to work without supervision, polite and helpful to both colleagues and guests, receptive to feedback, good communication skills, friendly, enthusiastic and a willingness to learn
• Able to use your own initiative
• Possess a positive, motivated, friendly, trustworthy outlook whilst on duty
• Ability to resolve guest issues efficiently and positively
