The Urban Space and Travel Company Limited operate serviced apartments, apartment hotels, co-working, meeting and event space in Cardiff and the Vale.
To increase the local exposure, global offering and ultimately revenues from both the leisure and business travel sectors an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Revenue and Sales with a hospitality background to continue their career and support the business growth plan.
You will take the lead to grow local, project-based corporate business and develop the relationships with major travel agents increasing existing accounts together with the development of new accounts by planned coordinated sales activity. You will be accountable for the effective management of all aspects of the revenue and sales functions including the management of the day to day operation of the revenue and sales office.
Previous experience of achieving sales and setting revenue targets and strategy is essential for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the business sales plan, to encompass direct sales calls, telesales, research, appointment making and taking part in promotional campaigns, client familiarization visits and contract negotiation.
- You will be responsible for the smooth running of the revenue and sales office, working alongside the team to maximise all sales opportunities and conversion of enquiries.
- Develop, monitor and adjust pricing strategies to reflect asset strength relative to the competition and specific market conditions and explore new distribution opportunities.
- To ensure that forecasts are prepared through monitoring statistics, pick-up patterns and business trends.
What do we require?
As Head of Revenue and Sales you will inspire all members of the team to drive the delivery of sales target and excellent service delivery. You will be a strong communicator with a track record from B2C sales experience.
In this role you will be required to travel therefore you must drive. As part of the management team your working pattern will include flexibility with occasional weekends.
